We have already seen that big German car brands announced to bring all-electric cars to India. US based car brand Tesla owned by Elon Musk also announced to bring Tesla Models to India in early 2020.
Hyundai launched KONA ELECTRIC on 9th july 2019, First All-Electric car for India. HYUNDAI KONA ELECTRIC is the first All-Electric car for Indian market. This feature loaded car is launched at the price of Rs. 25.30 lakh with the maximum rage of 452km in full charge. It gets really good response from Indians as the received 120 confirmed bookings for the Kona Electric SUV in 10 days.

EXTERIOR
It looks really modern and stylish but if we consider it as electric SUV, it looks bit small in size and will have less road presence as compare to other SUVs in market.
Distinctive split type LED Headlamps with LED DRLs. The twin headlight design features powerful headlights, with full LED headlights. Opinions may differ from person to person but personally I loved the Bold exterior design with Sleek LED lighting and fine detailing, its eye catching and looks cool for youngsters too.

INTERIOR
High quality materials and advanced technology, everything looks premium in this car including fully digital instrument cluster and the floating 17.77 cm touchscreen infotainment is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. You can also access to EV menu in infotainment screen to get all the information about charging and range. It has a spacious cabin but it looks small due to dull and dark colour combination.
This car is loaded with a lot of features.

We already have hybrid cars in India and car companies have positive response from their customers but for the first time India will have All-Electric car and infrastructure for EVs is not fully developed so it would be tough for owners to get DC chargers or road side assistance.
Hyundai is offering 3 years/Unlimited KM Warranty, 24*7 Emergency Roadside Assistance, Service vehicle Charging Support in selected cities (Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru & Chennai).
Hyundai will be setting up a 50kW DC fast charging station at public points in major cities. These fast chargers will juice up to 80 per cent range in just 57 minutes and will be located at select Hyundai dealerships and Indian Oil Corporation’s existing fuel stations.
